Have you thought about this?

In most of the third world a brutal battle is waged for survival. Clean drinking water and food is scarce, the average wages are around 2$ a day. Ignorance, tradition, powerful geopolitical interests and poverty grind people’s souls and bodies into a shadow of what God intended for mankind. A handful of rice, a piece of bread, a few legumes and possibly a bit of fruit or vegetable are the average diet. A precarious shelter, a few clothes, meager possessions…

My experience has been that the combination of faith – simple trust in Jesus Christ – reading (or hearing if illiterate) the Bible – begins the restoration of the soul! All other things begin to follow that spiritual root. It is the reason that the BILLIONS of dollars in foreign aid only creates dependence, a few mega-millionaires and little change for the masses. Fortunes are wasted attacking the result and not the root. I thank God for the many that are fed but despair over the misallocation of funds by western governments.

Only Jesus Saves! – the Message must be lived out and proclaimed!

Welcome to G E Missions! We will have more information shortly. We have trips to Haiti and the Philipines projected for this year!

Did you notice the fish with no meat? Traditionally the fish speaks of Christianity

(ΙΧΘΥΣ (Ichthys) is an acronym for “ησοῦς Χριστός, Θεοῦ Υἱός, Σωτήρ”, (Iēsous Christos, Theou Yios, Sōtēr), which translates into English as “Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Savior”.) Thanks Wikipedia!

Isn’t it sad 95%+ of the worlds “preachers” are in the first world? Speak English only? Have incredible wealth – but little vision to share it to properly advance God’s Kingdom?

Maybe it’s time to share some fish!?!
